Position Overview
We’re looking for a strategic and client-focused Senior Account Manager to join our Client Strategy Team. This role is ideal for someone with brand-side marketing experience who understands direct marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on direct mail.
As a key liaison between brands, agencies, and internal teams, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing marketing programs that drive measurable results. You’ll work closely with clients to define marketing strategies, collaborate with internal operations teams on execution, and ensure seamless communication throughout the process.
Success in this role requires a unique blend of marketing expertise, technical understanding, and client relationship management. You’ll need to be both strategic and detail-oriented, comfortable working with complex data-driven marketing programs while also being highly responsive and clear in client communication.
Core Responsibilities
· Account Management & Client Strategy: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for enterprise accounts, managing both tactical execution and strategic initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their marketing programs align with business objectives.
· Marketing Program Development: Work with brands and agencies to create customized direct mail, telemarketing, digital, and email campaigns for both B2C and B2B acquisition and retention.
· Sales & Business Growth: Partner with the Sales Team to identify, qualify, and execute new and existing opportunities, helping drive revenue growth through data-driven marketing programs.
· Data & Campaign Execution: Define customer data and marketing requirements, oversee data requests, testing, file modifications, and ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns.
· Proposal & Contract Management: Manage the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and collaborate with Legal on customer agreements.
· Reporting & Performance Analysis: Work with Data Science and Development teams to analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations.
· Cross-functional coordination: Act as a key liaison between Sales, Operations, and Development teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment on client programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in Direct Marketing, either client facing or customer side
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Strong Project Management or Account Management background
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience working with business or consumer marketing data and writing project requirements preferred
